Site plans and billing
DashboardWP is free to use; paid plans are optional and per site, so you pay only for the sites that need more. A client’s flagship store can be on Premium while your side projects stay free, all in one account.
The plans
- Standard (free): everything in this guide except the automation extras below. Unlimited sites.
- Premium ($2.99 per site per month): unlocks the automation tier on that site.
- Agency ($4.99 per site per month): everything in Premium, for professionals managing client sites, with more on the way.
What Premium unlocks
- Daily and weekly automatic backups (monthly schedules are free).
- Automatic security and malware scans on a schedule (manual scans are always free).
- Uptime checks every 1, 5 or 10 minutes (15-minute checks are free).
Gated options are marked with a Premium badge across the dashboard, so you always see what a plan change would unlock.
Changing a site’s plan
Open the site’s Settings and switch plans on the Plan tab (free sites also show an upgrade card at the bottom of the sidebar). The first paid site takes you through a short Stripe checkout; after that, plan changes apply immediately in place.
How billing works
One subscription covers all your paid sites, billed monthly through Stripe; we never see your card details. Upgrades are prorated and charged immediately for the remainder of the period; downgrades credit the unused amount to your balance. When your last paid site goes back to Standard, the subscription is cancelled automatically; there is nothing to remember to cancel.
The Billing page
Billing in the icon rail shows your subscription status, the monthly total, the next payment date, your invoices, and which sites are on which paid plan. Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal where you update the card or download invoices.
Good to know
- Billing belongs to the workspace owner; team members never see or manage it.
- If a subscription lapses (for example a failed payment that is never fixed), affected sites drop back to Standard and their premium schedules pause; your data and backups remain.
- Prices are per site per month; there are no per-user fees and no charge for connecting sites.
